A skin you would pay for on console can be obtained for free on PC very easily. What happened? Well, Microsoft left the PC version alone and only really monetized the "mods" of the console versions. (Like FeedTheBeast) It should be noted that the "mods" being sold were also super simplistic compared to anything offered on PC, the reasons likely being concerns of compatibility conflicts. This is because there was a very healthy Minecraft modding community complete with multiple forms of distribution platforms. Once Minecraft was acquired by Microsoft, everyone began to panic because of the marketplace they set up to sell different forms of DLC: Skins, "mods", etc. Just throwing this out there, but the situation going on with Bethedra's products reminds me about what happened with Minecraft. ![]() Now discussing: Thank you for watching the show!
